I wish I could give this place a 0. Genuinely one of the nastiest hotel I have ever been in my entire life! Like first off all the staff is so rude and unwelcoming and just the worst customer service ever. My room was soo gross literally found spiders crawling in my sheets, never seen this before. Like ew. I specifically asked for fresh linens and housekeeping and the guy at the front said housekeeping isnt available it is almost 3 pm! Like what type of nonsense is this! So I came back into my hotel room to see a mess beds were still in made with the dead spider mark and the bathroom had 0 clean towels! The worst part was my room smells terrible, no amount of my perfume can mask this nasty smell. Now let me get started on the breakfast. The breakfast lady was so rude. Everything is plastic. Plastics cups bowls and plates, could this place get any worse. What do you mean I had to eat my breakfast in plastic plates and with plastic utensils. Definitely the worst breakfast ever! Don’t ever recommend staying here, worst rooms worst breakfast and the worst customer service possible. I am so mad and dissatisfied by my stay.

Spectacularly beautiful place on the river. What peace there was watching the crews and boats go by. Fabulous breakfast layout. A professional and kind staff. Definitely pricey as is the restaurant next door. If you want to indulge yourself, this is the place to do it.

Nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable rooms. I've stayed here several times on business over the years and the staff have always been friendly and accommodating. That being said, the one thing I can't get over is the train bridge adjacent to the Mohawk River side of the property. Trains roll through at all hours of the night laying on their horns and have woken me up on numerous visits. It's nowhere near as bad during day time hours, but that's not when people are trying to sleep. Some nights there's a train every 15 minutes. Clearly the staff can't help it, so I only deducted one star from my overall rating based on the trains. You think the original developers might have picked a different location based on that factor though. The location is just not conducive to people being able to get a good night's sleep. I'm not a light sleeper, so if the trains wake me up I can only imagine how it affects someone who has a harder time falling and staying asleep. If this is you, I recommend trying to request a room on the Freemans Bridge Rd side of the property.
